Residential Property Paralegal

We are looking for a Residential Property Paralegal/Administrator to join our busy and dynamic team. The role involves working closely with and assisting the department’s solicitors primarily on Residential Property matters. The ideal candidate should have previous experience/knowledge of Residential Property.

Key Duties:

- You will working in the area of Residential Conveyancing
- Assisting with Anti-Money Laundering (AML) checks
- AP1 applications to Land Registry
- Preparing standard correspondence and documents
- Stamp Duty Land Tax (SDLT) return and payment
- Review client account ledgers
- Update case management systems
- Take and make calls to clients and others in a professional and friendly manner
- Dealing with incoming and outgoing correspondence
- Opening and closing client files

About you:

- Experience in Residential Conveyancing would be an advantage
- An interest in the property market would be useful
- You must be a driven, energetic, enthusiastic individual and be able to demonstrate an excellent work ethic
- A good command of English spelling, punctuation and grammar
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office packages
- Ability to prioritise daily workload/good time management skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Excellent customer service skills, including professional and friendly telephone manner

The salary is competitive, negotiable and dependent upon your level of experience.

 

Residential Property Solicitor/ Licensed Conveyancer – NQ to 1 pqe +

We are keen to recruit a junior residential property lawyer.

The successful candidate will be an ambitious, highly organised and personable lawyer with first class client skills, a strong work ethic and excellent academics.

On offer is the chance to join an established, collegiate and progressive law firm of 50 + people handling London property work.

The work includes freehold and leasehold sales and purchases, re-mortgages, transfers of equity and more. This will be a hands-on role in working with high-end estate agents and having a real variety of work.

Requirements:

  • a residential property lawyer
  • a dynamic and personable individual
  • strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team
  • experience in dealing with both Freehold & Leasehold transactions

The salary is competitive, negotiable and dependent upon your level of experience.
