Laura qualified as a solicitor in the Family Law Department in March 2024. She joined LBMW in April 2023 whilst studying for the Solicitor Qualifying Exams.

Laura has over four years’ experience in Family Law and assists in a wide range of family matters to include the following:

  • Drafting and advising on pre and post nuptial agreements and cohabitation agreements.
  • Divorce and judicial separation applications.
  • Financial claims following divorce. Both through Non-Court Dispute Resolution routes (such as solicitor negotiations, private FDR, round table meetings and arbitration) or within financial remedy proceedings.
  • Schedule 1 claims made for the financial provision of children of unmarried couples.
  • A wide range of private children matters such as child arrangements and residence disputes – to include welfare and safeguarding issues.
  • Protective orders such as non-molestation and occupation orders.
  • TOLATA claims to resolve disputes over property ownership and rights for unmarried cohabiting couples.

Laura graduated from the University of Brunel with a First Class honours in Bachelor of Laws with Professional Placement and completed the Solicitor Qualifying Exams passing both SQE1 and SQE2 in the first quintile.
