Jessica Groves
Jessica Groves is a Partner in LBMW’s Real Estate team, advising high net worth individuals, private investors, sophisticated lending backed clients, small and medium-sized enterprises on the acquisition and disposal of high value residential property across London and the wider UK market. Her expertise spans both freehold and leasehold assets, with particular strength in premium transactions involving, complex title or structural arrangements, heritage and Grade II listed buildings, transactions with agricultural aspects, new build developments, and Islamic finance. Her practice also includes voluntary lease extensions, statutory leasehold enfranchisement (primarily acting for individual leaseholders exercising statutory rights), the granting of new leases, overage deeds, and deeds of variation. Jessica also brings specialist expertise in acting for Insolvency Practitioners on residential and commercial property disposals arising from personal or corporate insolvency—an area that demands technical acuity and refined commercial judgement.
With more than a decade of post qualification experience, Jessica is known for her meticulous, strategic approach and her ability to manage intricate, time sensitive, and high stakes residential transactions with discretion and efficiency.
Her career highlights include representing high net worth clients on the acquisition and sale of high value properties and refinancing of larger residential property portfolios, demonstrating her ability to execute complex deals under significant time pressure.
Jessica studied law at the University of Manchester, graduating in 2009, and completed the Legal Practice Course with distinction at BPP Law School in 2010. She qualified as a solicitor in March 2013 before joining LBMW in 2017 from a leading West End firm.
