Peter Beesley, who is a solicitor, was educated at King's School Worcester and Exeter University. He was articled to a firm in Devon, joined Lee Bolton & Lee in 1968 and became a partner in 1969, was Senior Partner from 2000 to 2008 and is now a consultant with the firm, now known as Lee Bolton Monier-Williams.
Peter is an ecclesiastical, education and charity lawyer. He is Joint Registrar of the Faculty Office of the Archbishop of Canterbury. He is the past Registrar of various dioceses and the Woodard Corporation (the trustee of over 40 independent and maintained schools and academies).
He was solicitor to The National Society and the Church of England Board of Education; solicitor and secretary to various private companies, charitable companies, trusts both charitable and non-charitable, and various independent schools and Church of England Diocesan Boards of Finance and Education.
